Students should submit a current image (taken or published in the last year or so, unless approved by the Instructor) with reference to Africa (captioned photograph, personal photograph, art work, cartoon etc.) with a brief (a paragraph or two)commentary regarding the portrayal of the subject and its representation of the continent. Aim for originality. A marker will probably not be impressed by 10, 20 or 30 images of the same thing.
