Pick three words or phrases that you feel best personally describe you (e.g. athletic, smart, reserved, domestic, etc). Then, discuss whether and how these words are considered typical of your gender, according to American culture and/or your own culture(s). How do the terms you chose illustrate the expectations for the gender that you identify with? Or, if they do not illustrate the gender that you identify with, explain why this is so. You can explain this last point either in terms of shared cultural expectations of gender roles or your own expectations.
Also consider this page on Navajo genders. What would you be if you lived in a culture with multiple genders and gender roles? Remember these are not necessarily tied to sexuality as Gender is in Western culture but represent different cultural roles and responsibilities.
