In our diverse communities it’s important to be sure the measure is appropriate for the client. Country-of-origin and language are important factors to consider. For example, if the measure is English as a second language, would the measure be accurate? “Will the patient understand the language used in the test?” and “Is there a different assessment in the client’s native language?”
