Strain Gages Lab Technical Writing To Complete A Professional Control Lab Report

Question Description

Remember before u handle this work, this work is so important to me, so i will revise it many times before i turn it in and I will rate u depend on your work quality such as providing correct and full response and meet all requirements in the attached instructions. Please avoid the Lack of depth in your response and plagiarism bcz I’ll check it with the ((Turn it in website.))

I need the following:

  • Send it me as WORD document not a handwritten scanned document
  • See the main lab and the attached file named “Calculations” to see our results & the Pictures file.
  • Note: Distance is 21 in X=21in. for my group.
  • Then write A professional lab by meeting all the requirements in the main lab file, and especially the following:
    • determine the precision uncertainty in width (Uw) and thickness (Ut) based on the taken values of width and thickness on the excel file .
    • Record the model, resistance and gage factor, F, (and its uncertainty, UF) of the strain gage that you are using.
    • ——
    • Develop a calibration curve for your beam: plot the applied load as a function of the measured voltage from your bridge or amplifier circuit. Then use Excel to determine a linear fit to your data. This is Figure 1 of your report. Comment on how well the linear fit captures the load vs. voltage behavior.
    • Using your beam dimensions and knowledge of the beam material (aluminum or steel), predict Vout as a function of Pactual. How well do the measured and predicted voltages compare?
    • Explain any differences between your measured and predicted Vout. Be specific about why they might not match up.
    • What can you conclude about the use of strain gages to make load measurements (aside from the difficulty of mounting them)?
    • Propose, in detail, an application where you could see a strain gage being used.
